Today we got a cable modem. It is so fabulously fast. I don't know what we we thinking keeping dial up all these years.

HA! Every time I go back to my parents' house and their dialup, it pains me horribly. Congratulations! ;-)
Hooray! Now your home phone will never be busy again! Caution: When you get a cable modem you become VERY dependant on the internet.
Here is an example:
"I think I'm hungry. What do I want to eat? I'll go ask the internet..."
Or even *more* relevant:
"I/my fiance/my child has a red spot on my/his/her ear...I'll go ask the internet...Oh! It's scabies/rabies/ear wasting disease! Great!"
